Symposium on Gas Demand in MENA Region
Doha, March 15 (QNA) -Qatar Petroleum, in cooperation with Oxford Energy Institute organized on Tuesday a one-day symposium on energy, focusing on gas future prices.
Experts at the symposium reviewed a book issued by the institute on " natural gas in the Middle East and North Africa".
The book expected a limited rise in Japan's gas demand following the earthquake which struck northeastern Japan on Friday and caused tsunami tidal waves.
It expected an increase by 10 million tons a year of Liquefied Natural Gas LNG in Japan this year.
The symposium discussed Europe's gas consumption prospects , supplies to Europe and to world markets.(QNA)
