Regular-service soldier driving car knocks down two girls
MOSCOW, March 16 (Itar-Tass) - A regular-service soldier when driving a car in the city of Zheleznodorozhny (railway) near Moscow knocked down two girls. One of them died, a source in Moscow Region law enforcement agencies has told Itar-Tass.
"The incident occurred on the Novovykhino Road. An UAZ motor vehicle, driven by a regular-service soldier, hit two 16-year-old girls on a pedestrian crossing and fled the scene," the source said.
"As a result, one of the girls died on the spot and the other was
rushed to hospital with heavy injuries," the source specified.
A search for the hit-and-run cuplprit has been launched.
