Kirkuk Governor resigns

Kirkuk, March 15 (NINA) –The Governor of Kirkuk Province Abdul Rahman Mustafa resigned from his post.
In a press conference, Mustafa announced that he submitted his resignation due to his limited authorities granted for local authorities in the provinces in general and Kirkuk in particular which makes him unable to meet the requirements of the citizens.
Earlier on Tuesday, March 15, 201, the Head of Kirkuk Provincial Council, Razkar Ali, submitted his resignation during a regular meeting of Kirkuk provincial council, justifying his resignation by "the current conditions in Kirkuk under which he considered as difficult to please all sides by through his daily performance.”
