Barzani, Melkert discuss political situation in Iraq

Baghdad, March 15 (NINA) –The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, discussed the issue of finalizing the formation of the Federal Government and the forming the National Council of Strategic Policies as well as executing Article 140 of the constitution with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Iraq, Ad Melkert.
A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan cited “Both sides discussed the performance and the activities of the UNAMI.”
