Sharjah Biennial to showcase works by Iranian artist
TEHRAN,March 15(MNA) -- A collection of artworks created by Iran`s Hooman Mortazavi will go on display during an exhibit at the 10th Sharjah Biennial which will be held from March 16 to May 16.
A total of 119 artists and participants from 36 countries around the globe will take part in the festival with the theme of Plot for a Biennial.
The Biennial will present new and specially commissioned works by contemporary artists, filmmakers, writers and performers from across the region and internationally.
Sharjah Biennial is one of the most celebrated cultural events in the Arab world which has become a major fixture on the Middle East`s contemporary art calendar.
