PYONGYANG, March 15 (Itar-Tass) - The United States is completing the formation of a tripartite military alliance with South Korea and Japan in Northeast Asia, the North Korean leading newspaper Rodong Sinmun writes.
According to its information, the endless manoeuvres Washington
conducts with Tokyo and Seoul, as well as meetings "on security issues" of the three sides testify to this, above all.
The publication says that the United States is creating "such an
aggressive military alliance to confront its potential opponents and
independent anti-imperialist states" in the Asia-Pacific region.
However, Washington should take into account that policy, "which is aimed at increasing tensions and preparing for war - is a road to
nowhere," Rodong Sinmun emphasises.
