Yemeni women call for their 15 percent quota
Woman a Partner in Making Future" affirmed their call to the President of the Republic to approve quota system and give woman noless than 15 percent in different fields.
In the symposium, organized by the Organization of People's Will for Developing Democracy and Supporting National Issues, the participants recommended of including woman in decision making in different country's sectors and reconsidering legislations limitingher participation.
Two work sessions included in the symposium. The first session discussed four work papers on importance of education in supporting woman participation, woman and judiciary in Yemen, role of woman in bringing generations and society's role in encouraging woman'sparticipation.
The second session discussed also four work papers on enabling woman in development and participation in decision making, woman as partner in making future, female movement in Yemen and on the situation of woman participation in neighboring countries vis-a visYemeni situation.
