Swiss President arrives in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, Baku, March 13 /Trend/
President of Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey on Sunday arrived in Azerbaijan on official visit, the official site of the Swiss President reported.
Calmy-Rey will be in Azerbaijan from March 13 to 15 .
Micheline Calmy-Rey arrived in the country at the invitation of Azerbaijan.
The programme includes talks with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and other government representatives, including Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.
In addition, a visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is scheduled. The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is running a project to improve the water supply in this mountainous and arid region, the statement read.
