Turkish President receives OIC Chief
received Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu on the conclusion of the “Turkey-AfricaCooperation Summit†during the weekend.
The Secretary General thanked the President for the impressivesuccess of the Summit.
During their interaction, he praised Turkey’s timely initiative to open up towards Africa and mentioned that such an activity is completely in line with the new vision of the OIC embodied in its TenYear Program of Action.
They also exchanged views on the contribution of Turkey in different fields of the OIC activities as well as on Turkey’s future possible initiatives to support the OIC activities directed towards the betterment of the Muslim World. They also agreed on furtherstrengthening the ties between the OIC and Turkey.
