Moldova's interim president to visit Brussels
CHISINAU, March 13 (Itar-Tass) -- Moldova's Interim President and
Chairman of the parliament Marian Lupu leaves on Sunday for a three-day working visit to Brussels, where he will discuss European integration and settlement of the Transdniestria situation.
"This is Marian Lupu's first visit in the position of the parliament's chairman who acts as president," press service of Moldova's parliament said.
The talks will dwell upon home situation and ways to settle the
political crisis in Moldova, which fails for the second year running to elect a president, the press service said.
Local media forecasts that the sides may discuss cooperation between Moldova and the European Union in culture.
