Strike, rallies in Ghotki district

Ubauro (PPI) - All the business activities remained suspended as there was complete shutter down on Friday in Ghotki district on the call of PPP to observe Protest Day against Supreme Court decision of removing NAB chief Syed Deedar Hussain Shah.

The shops and other business centres were closed in Ubauro, Daharki, Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki and other towns of district where the PPP and Sindh Peoples Students’ Federation took out rallies, torched old tyres at the roads and chanted slogans. The PPP workers also blocked the highway near toll plaza in Ubauro.

There was thin attendance in government offices.
