2-day Int’l Conference (Surgicon) from today
LAHORE (PPI) - The 2-day International Conference (Surgicon) 2011 is going to be held at Allama Iqbal Medical College / Jinnah Hospital Lahore. The inaugural ceremony will be held on 12th March at the College Auditorium in which at least 1000 medical experts from other countries including USA, UK, Singapore, Ireland and Srilanka are expected to participate. In this connection, Associate Professor Dr. Afsar Ali Bhatti of PGMI told that Surgicon 2011 is being organized by Pakistan Society of Surgeons Lahore.
He said that before inauguration of the conference, pre-conference workshops would also be organized on 9th and 10th March at AIMC Auditorium in which different procedures would be displayed on large screen directly from the operation theatres for updating the knowledge of young surgeons. Moreover, on 9th March Laparoscopy training sessions would also be held at Services Hospital Surgical Unit-IV and at LGH in Medical Unit-I.
This International Surgical Conference would provide opportunities to the young doctors to get benefits from the knowledge and professional skills of senior experts from advanced countries.
