Turkish parliament ratifies Azerbaijan- Turkey strategic partnership agreement
Azerbaijan, Baku, March 11 (Trend)-The General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament adopted a bill to approve the Azerbaijan-Turkey treaty on strategic partnership and mutual assistance on March 10, the Hurriyet newspaper reported.
Following the ratification of the treaty by the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament, it must be ratified by the President.
The Turkish Parliamentary Foreign Relations Commission developed a bill on Feb.17 to approve the Azerbaijan-Turkey treaty on strategic partnership and mutual assistance dated Aug.16, 2010. The Azerbaijani Parliament ratified the document on Dec. 22, 2010.
The Turkish Parliament received the bill on ratification of the treaty on Dec.8 and the Commission launched the consideration on it on Dec. 24, 2010.
Following the ratification of the treaty by the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament, it must be ratified by the President.
