HEALTH SECTOR AND HOUSEHOLD INCOME IN FIGURES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ According to a report of the Ministry of Health, 10,259 mothers delivered births having 10,293 live births in the first two months of 2011 decreasing 960 or 8.6 per cent and 960 or 8.5 per cent, respectively, compared to the same period of previous year.
During this period, infant mortality decreased by 52 or 21.4 per cent to 191; aged 1-5 child mortality went down by 26 or 40.6 per cent to 38.

A Household Socio-Economic Survey run in the 4th quarter of 2010 shows that a household average monetary income per month increased by MNT 71.5 thousand or 20.5 per cent to MNT 420.7 thousand against the previous year.
A household average monetary expenditure per month increased by MNT 76.3 thousand or 20.7 per cent to MNT 444.7 thousand against the previous year.
