CONSUMER PRICE INDEX
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The national consumer price index in February, 2011 increased by 0.5 per cent against the previous month, 3.5 per cent from the beginning of the year, and 11.0 per cent against the previous year.
The increase in national index compared to the previous month was mainly due to 0.6 per cent increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 1.0 per cent increase in clothing, footwear and cloth, and 1.3 percent increase in transport.
