SOME 130 THOUSAND HEADS OF LIVESTOCK WERE LOST
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first 2 months of 2011, 134.4 thousand heads of adult domestic animals were lost, which equals to 0.4 percent of total livestock at beginning of the year.
Of them, there were 5.2 thousand heads of horses, 11.2 thousand cows, 0.2 thousand camels, 50.6 thousand sheep and 67.2 thousand goats. Out of the losses, 50.0 percent were goats.
