INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT INCREASED BY 0.8 BILLION TOGROG

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first two months of 2011, the total industrial output increased by 0.8 billion togrog, or 0.3 percent, to 267.0 billion togrog (at 2005 constant prices) against the same period of the previous year.
The increase in the industrial output was mainly due to 13.2-55.7 percent increase in mining and quarrying products such as gold, and coal; 3.0-44.0 times increase in products such as camel woolen blanket, sawn wood, cigarettes and cement; and 1.7-55.6 percent increase in main manufacturing products such as combed down, bread, sausages, milk, beer, carpet, alcohol, and pies.
