MAXIMUM PRECIPITATION WAS IN TERELJ

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology says that a maximum precipitation was in Terelj (14.7 mm) of Ulaanbaatar city in February, 2011.
Khovsgol soum of Dornogovi aimag had the highest air temperature (+10.0°C), while Otgon soum of Zavkhan aimag had the lowest ( -47.0°C). Maximum wind speed reached 24 m/sec in Bulgan soum of Omnogovi aimag.
Daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 27 times around West crossroad, 26 times around 32nd Toirog, 22 times around 1st micro district, 17 times around the Officers Palace, 14 times around Kharkhorin market and Khan-Uul district, respectively; a daily average concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 28 times around 32nd Toirog, 27 times around West crossroad, 23 times around Officers Palace, 19 times around Khan-Uul district, 18 times around 1st micro district, 15 times around Kharkhorin market.
A particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 28 times at 32nd Toirog, 24 times around West crossroad, 15 times around Khan-Uul district, 6 times around Kharkhorin market; a particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded 27 times around West crossroad from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in February, 2011.
