Russian football clubs win and lose in Netherlands
THE HAGUE, March 11 (Itar-Tass) -- Two Russian football clubs played
in the first leg of UEFA Europa League in the Netherlands on Thursday and
Spartak Moscow defeated Ajax (1:0), while Zenit St. Petersburg lost to
Twente (0:3).
Secon leg games will take place on March 17 in Moscow and St.
Petersburg.
Also on Thursday CSKA Moscow lost to Porto (0:1) in a home game.
