Echo Base in Diwaniya rocketed
Diwaniya (NINA) – The American Echo base in Diwaniya, Thi-Qar province, was hit on Thursday evening, Mar. 10 with a Katusha rocket.
Police source told NINA that unknown persons fired a Katusha rocket toward the Base, which is used by American forces.
The source added that the rocket hit the Base but the size of losses could not be determined.
He pointed out that two days ago police had discovered a rocket in Rifat area, before being fired toward the Base.
