MAYOR MEETS CHINA'S AMBASSADOR
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city received Thursday Mr. Wang Xiao Long, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia.
The Mayor has wished success to the ambassador and thanked him and China embassy's staff for organizing a meeting between the Mayors of Ulaanbaatar and Beijing.
G.Monkhbayar has expressed a confidence that the new ambassador would forward the ties between the capital cities bringing them into a new field, and will co-organize a visit of Beijing city's mayor together with Ulaanbaatar city's administration.
In turn, the ambassador has underlined that he already felt an intensive development of Ulaanbaatar and saying he is ready to collaborate in solving its problems such as air pollution and traffic jam.
He has expressed a willingness to widen the Mongolia-China relations including ties between the cities and to pay attention to organizing a visit of Beijing's mayor to Ulaanbaatar.
