MONGOLIANS RANKED HIGH
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian judoists of the state selected team have been placed at higher places in new rankings of international judoists, updated by the International Judo Federation (IJF). The Mongolian 11 judoists--four women and seven men--have been listed within the best 20.
State Honored Sportsman and World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar is still keeping its leadership at men's 66 kg category with 1,570 points. He has grabbed a gold medal in the World Masters of Baku. His countryman S.Miaragchaa (men's 66 kg) has been ranked 8th with 772 points. Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar (520 points) has managed to jump to 15th place in the men's -100 kg category thanks to grabbing gold and silver medals in the Paris Grand Slam and in the Budapest World Cup competitions. In this category, an international master of sports B.Temuulen has been ranked 11th winning silver and bronze medals in the several competitions in Europe.
An international master of sports M.Bundmaa (women's 52 kg) has been ranked 3rd with 1,022 points after winning a gold medal in the Paris Grand Prix and a bronze medal from the Baku World Masters. P.Lhamdegd (women's -78 kg) has jumped to 16th place with 456 points after winning two gold medals in Europe.
Other Mongolians G.Boldbaatar (men's 60 kg), Ch.Boldbaatar (men's 60 kg), S.Nyam-Ochir (men's 73 kg), M.Urantsetseg (women's 48 kg) and Ts.Monkhzaya (women's 63 kg) are among the first 20 best judoists.
