Gilgit-Baltistan welcomes foreign investors
Gilgit, March 10, 2011 (PPI): Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan(GB), Syed Mehdi Shah has welcome the international investors for investing in GB.
Talking to media persons here, he vowed to provide all facilities to international investors. He said that Gilgit Baltistan is a backward province, adding the time is not far when it would be a modern and prosperous province. He said this dream will come into reality only by utilizing our own natural resources.
Mehdi Shah said he was visiting Islamabad for amusement purpose but to inform President and Prime Minister about the problems, which are confronted to province. He further said there was advancement on the subsidy on wheat from the federation. He informed that WAPDA has paid Rs 660 million for Diamer affectees. He lauded the role of parliamentary committee working in the Gilgit city for maintaining peace in the province.
