FPCCI to establish institute for training of officials, businessmen
Karachi, March 10, 2011 (PPI): Vice president, SAARC chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik has said that the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) intends to establish a state of art institute for training of government official and businessmen.
The proposed institute will be established in the Federation building at Islamabad, he told Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in a meeting.
He said that the institute will impart training in international trade and export so that exports could be increased.
He said that the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has enough export development funds which should be used for funding research and development work.
The prime minister assured that funds will be provided from export development funds for the proposed institute.
