STATE HEAD IN BULGAN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Ёontinuing his working tour to rural areas, thew President Ts.Elbegdorj has visited Bulgan aimag. On Wednesday, he got au fait with the aimag's court and prosecutorial organization.
As he was told, the court has 34 staffers, has begun making its activity more transparent for the public, has been presenting all decisions, legal documents and rules on the own website. By the beginning of this year, some 2,800 people visited the website in order to get acquainted with the court's activities.
The general judge Yo.Nyamtseren has said a special room has been opened for crime-related under-age people to give them legal advice.
The State Head has underlined that the main obligation of the juridical bodies is to protect interests of people. "Since lawfully made court decisions can protect civil rights, your verdicts must be fair and respect human rights," he has stressed. The he has emphasized an importance of the court's transparency.
