USAID continues works in Sana'a
SANA'A, Aug 21 (Saba)- Well-informed sources said that the U.S.
Agency for International Development (USAID) continues its works inSana'a after halting activities for some time.
The source told 26 sep.net that a number of the agency's workers came back to Sana'a after they had left following the tourism attackthat targeted the American embassy last March.
Re-opening the agency would contribute to boosting its development activities in a number of projects in the fields of agriculture, education and heath, and supporting civil society organizations, thesource affirmed.
The agency's funds reached $30 million in 2006 but decreased to $8million in 2008.
