U.S Embassy condemns suicide atrocity in Peshawar
Islamabad, March 09, 2011 (PPI): The United States Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemns Wednesday Is terrorist bombing which killed or injured dozens of people during a funeral ceremony in the Adezai area of Matni near Peshawar.
Our deepest sympathies are with those who lost loved ones today, said a statement issued here Wednesday.
Today’s attack on innocent people in mourning is unfortunately just the latest despicable example of the moral depths to which terrorists will sink as they target innocent Pakistani children, women, and men, it said.
The United States stands in steadfast solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan as they seek to build a country in which all can live, work, and worship free from terror and intimidation.
