Two days media workshop concludes in Landikotal

Peshawar, March 09, 2011 (PPI): Intermedia arranged two days media training workshop in Landikotal press club, which concluded here on Wednesday. The two days media-training workshop was aimed at guiding the tribal journalists to know how to make a news story and use social web sites. More than thirty tribal journalists hailing from Khyber Agency took part in this media training that was arranged by Intermedia.

Intermedia trainers Islam Gul Afridi and Sajid Ur Rehman Khattak delivered lectures on technical problems, journalistic ethics and conflict resolution. They also let the participants to share their views and experiences relating to news making and technical problems so that they could improve their skills in story writing.

The media trainers of Intermedia Islam Gul Afridi, Sajid Ur Rehman Khattak, Local TUJ president Wali Khan Shinwari and senior journalists Sudhir Ahmad Afridi, Khalil Khan and Sadullah Afridi awarded certificates to the journalists who participated in the two days media work shop at Landikotal press club.

Islam Gul Afridi urged the tribal journalists to improve their skills and capabilities so that they could better play their role in reporting. Khalil Afridi demanded for further need-based arrangement of media workshops.
