Mirza orders improving police intelligence system
KARACHI, March 09, 2011 (PPI): Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Mirza on Wednesday took a serious notice on news items published in a section of press regarding alleged negligence of intelligence personnel in collecting secret information.
He sought the details in this regard from Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Additional IG Special Branch and directed them to take action against concerned officials if found negligent.
He directed the intelligence duty cops to discharge their duties with zeal and ensure prompt intelligence gathering to fight crime and terrorism.
