MP calls to associate IHEC to parliament, CoM

Baghdad (NINA) –MP Sadiq al-Labban of the State of Law's Coalition called to associate the Independent High Electoral Commission to both the Parliament and the Council of Ministers in order to guarantee its unbiased performance or being affiliated to any party.

Speaking to NINA, he said "The CBI should not be connected to the Government in order keep Iraqi funds from being manipulated by international bodies," noting that "it can not be associated to the Parliament because the Bank is an executive body." /End/

IA force arrests 13 wanted individuals in eastern Mosul



Mosul, Nineveh (NINA) –An Iraqi Army force arrested 13 wanted individuals in eastern Mosul on Wednesday morning.

Mutleg orders officials, parties to evacuate Governmental buildings within 2 days



Baghdad (NINA) –The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, ordered the parties and the officials who occupy the governmental buildings parties to evacuate these buildings within the next two days.

He stated to National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) “We will evacuate the buildings that are occupied by the parties and the officials without exception to preserve the general properties owned by the State.”

He added “The occupiers will be demanded to pay the rent for occupying these buildings during the last years.” /End/

2 civilians killed in Baghdad



Baghdad (NINA) –Two civilians were killed due to two separate incidents in Baghdad on Tuesday evening.

Police source reported to NINA “An adhesive bomb attached to a vehicle of an engineer Sadiq Kadhum, who works at Baghdad Governorate Building, exploded, killing him in Bunouk neighborhood of eastern Baghdad on Tuesday evening.”

“Unidentified gunmen, using silenced pistols, assassinated a civilian in Mashtal area of southeastern Baghdad on Tuesday evening,” the source added, noting that “The motives behind this assassination are still ambiguous.”
