Japan's Ambition for Reinvasion of Korea Lambasted

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The Japan Ground "Self-Defense Force" fired anti-tank artillery pieces together with the U.S. Marines present in Okinawa this month in the wake of the similar drill staged last month, kicking up a war atmosphere. The Japan Maritime SDF staged a drill to "cope with missiles" together with the U.S. Navy with Aegis ships involved for the first time in history. Timed to coincide with this, Japan decided to round off the latest interceptor system through a huge financial allocation in a few years to come.
Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:
Japan's ulterior aim is to put spurs to the moves to turn it into a military power and stage a comeback to Korea under the pretext of the so-called "military cooperation" and "reaction to threats".
It's just a matter of time for Japan to launch reinvasion. The DPRK is the first target of this. It is the scenario of Japan to invade the DPRK and go over to the operation to conquer Asia with the Korean Peninsula as a springboard just as it did in the last century. -0-
