POL: Pakistan reaffirms resolve continue fight against terrorism
Islamabad, Aug 22 (PPI) - Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani Thursday reaffirmed resolve to continue the fight against terrorism with full force to wipe out this menace.
Addressing graduation ceremony of Police officers who completed six weeks training under Anti-Terrorism Assistance Programme by the United States in collaboration with Interior Ministry here, he said Pakistan is fighting this war in its own interest with object to bring peace in the country and region that is vital for bringingprosperity.
However, the situation demands more cooperation between the partners in this war as Pakistan needs latest equipment, technology and training for its law enforcers toface the challenge in better way, Gilani observed.
