Investigators discard terrorist act as the AN-148 crash cause
MOSCOW, March 7 (Itar-Tass) - Investigators of the AN-148 crash I the Belgorod region have ruled out a terrorist act as the cause of the
accident.
"At present, we have finished the forensic examination of the bodies of the dead pilots. All the injuries discovered of their bodies are traumas typical for air crashes. So, the theory of a terrorist act as the cause of the air crash is practically excluded," Tatyana Morozova, a representative of the Moscow inter-regional investigative department on transport, told Itar-Tass.
"The results of chemical analysis for the content of alcohol and
drugs in the blood of the dead pilots will be known later," Morozova went on to say.
Six people, including two pilots from Myanmar, died in the air crash in the Belgorod region. All of them have been identified.
"Three flight recorders found at the crash site have been sent to
Moscow for deciphering," Morozova said in conclusion.
