IAEA confirms NAM statement on Iran’s nuclear program
TEHRAN, March 6 (MNA) - by the NAM(Non-Aligned Movement)confirming the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities, Iranian ambassador to the IAEA(International Atomic Energy Agency ), Ali Asghar Soltanieh, said on Saturday.
“The meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement members was held on Friday and the statement of the group which was in support of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities and program was approved”, Soltanieh told .
The statement will be read out at a meeting of the Board of Governors, which is scheduled to be held this week, he added.
He also said that the International Atomic Energy Agency planned to hold a briefing session on the report of its director general Yukiya Amano on Wednesday.
