Demonstrations help Maliki to rid sectarianism, says Shahbander
Baghdad (NINA) –The National Alliance’s MP Izzat al-Shahbander pointed out that “The demonstrations help Premier Maliki to rid of those officials who came through sectarianism and partisan affiliations.”
He stated to the National Iraqi News Agency “The public demonstrations offer a golden chance for Maliki to use his authorities in choosing new well qualified and honest officials.”
It is worth mentioning that Baghdad and several other Iraqi provinces witnesses huge demonstrations during the last two Fridays, demanding to dismiss governors, chairmen of provincial councils and officials as well as calling to perform reforms on the constitution.
