US, SKorea stage joint exercises for surprise attack on NKorea

PYONGYANG, March 3 (Itar-Tass) - The United States and South Korea are staging the joint war games "for a surprise attack on the DPRK", writes on Thursday the government newspaper Minju Choson.
Incidentally, the newspaper continues, Washington and Seoul try to
conceal their aggressive schemes by references that the ongoing exercises "Key Resolve" and "Foal Eagle" allegedly "are of defensive nature".
The newspaper also notes that this large-scale demonstration of force started soon after "the failure of attempts to establish a dialogue between the North and the South through the fault of the Seoul regime".
The latest developments show, Minju Choson emphasises, that Washington and Seoul are not interested in improving inter-Korean relations, "hatching plans for occupying the North".
A representative of the North Korean National Committee for Peace
demanded that Washington and Seoul stop immediately the provocative
manoeuvres "Key Resolve" and "Foal Eagle".
A statement of this organisation notes that "this dangerous military adventure, initiated by American and South Korea warmongers, points to their plans to overthrow the present North Korean regime".
