ANNIVERSARY OF JOINING UN TO BE MARKED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting held Wednesday discussed an issue on celebrating the 50th anniversary of Mongolia's joining the United Nations October 27.
In accordance with the cabinet decision, a regulatory committee has been set up under a leadership of the Prime Minister S.Batbold. A related resolution will be issued as well. The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar has been appointed as a deputy leader of this committee. Some members of the cabinet and vice ministers have been named as its members.
In frames of the anniversary, measures are expected for introducing the public to the Mongolia-UN cooperation, organizing high level visits, hosting international meetings in Ulaanbaatar, propagandizing Mongolia among international community, organizing an action to present the national culture and arts in the UN Headquarters.
