D.DEMBEREL RECEIVES GERMANY'S DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Speaker has received Mrs. Ute Kumpf, a member of both Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SDPG), and Rolf Haas, an officer of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FEF) in charge of Asian affairs.
The Speaker has said the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) and the SDPG have an experience of cooperation, adding the parties may widen the ties. He has also mentioned about an experience of cooperation with the FEF.
Mentioning that a high level inter-parliamentary meeting of the countries will run soon, Mrs. Kumpf has said the Deutsche Bank of Germany decided to cooperate with Mongolia. "Mongolia has created a 'live democracy' in Asian region," she said.
Mr. Kumpf has asked about a legal reform of the law on election and whether two houses in Mongolian parliament will be created.
The Speaker has said "electoral results always face a strong criticism here", ading that it certainly demand a reform in the electoral system.
The dignitaries have shared opinions on the electoral system and emphasized that quota of women, strengthening of participation of people and a direct democracy give a big impetus to the biggest matters of society.
