Russia condemns Pak terror strike
the terror strike at a hospital in Pakistan's Dera-Ismail Khanin which 25 people were killed and over 50 wounded.
"Moscow expresses deep condolences to the families of killed and injured. We resolutely condemn another violent crime by clandestine extremists who are linked with international terrorism," the Russian Foreign Ministry said ina statement posted on its website.
Russia hopes that masterminds of this "evil act" aimed at destabilisation of domestic situation will be found andduly punished, it added.
The suicide attack Tuesday posed a fresh challenge to thegovernment grappling with extremist threats.
The attack came a day after Pervez Musharraf, a key US ally on the war against terrorism, stepped down as President, sparking concerns about the country's role in fighting themenace.
