Yemen parliament discusses domestic situations
SANA'A, March 01 (Saba)- For the second day, the Parliament discussed on Tuesday the overall political crisis the country is going
through and its dangerous consequences represented in the form of violence and vandalism resulting in the killing of a number of victims across the country.
Therefore, the Parliament issued a statement summarized as follows: 1- The Parliament condemns the acts of violence took place in the governorates asking the government
to try those behind this action.
2- The Parliament calls on the GPC and JMP and their allies to deal with the current situation wisely and to bear the historical responsibility, in addition to putting interests
of the people first.
3- The Parliament calls on all political actors, SCO's, opinion makers, intellectuals, media men and youth to realize the volume of challenges facing the country and its
eminent political consequences splitting the national unity and harming the economic capabilities.
4- The Parliament is proud of the Yemeni youth as they organized peaceful protests making their voice heard, calling on the government to fulfill their legitimate demands.
5- The Parliament calls on all MPs who suspended their attendance in the Parliament sessions to resume their participation as they represent the Yemeni people and their
interests in this constitutional institution.
The Parliament also formed a parliamentarian fact finding committee so as to find out specifics of the events took place in the governorate of Aden and to submit a report
regarding these events to the Parliament.
