HH the Heir Apparent Arrives in Riyadh
Riyadh, March 01 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived here this evening, starting an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which he will chair the Qatari side to third meeting of the Qatari-Saudi Joint Coordination Council.
HH the Heir Apparent was welcomed upon his arrival and the accompanying delegation at the Riyadh Airbase airport by Saudi Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Also, On hand to receive His Highness was Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, a number of ministers, and HE Qatar's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, and Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Ahmed Ali Al Qahtani, as well as a number of senior military commanders and staff members of the Qatari Embassy.
His Highness Sheikh Tamim, upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, made the following statement:
I am pleased as I arrived in my second homeland to convey the best greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the government and people of Qatar to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to express deep love and appreciation to the people of the Kingdom coupled with best wishes of more progress and prosperity.
This visit is in response to the gracious invitation extended by my brother Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and is a continuation of the communications initiated between our two countries. It is also to participate in third meeting of the Qatari-Saudi Joint Coordination Council.
I am confident that the outcome of this meeting will contribute to promoting closer cooperation between our two countries in various fields and will be in the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
I beseech Almighty God to guide and help us to achieve glory and prosperity for our two countries.

The honor mission accompanied HH the Heir Apparent is Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers Dr Musaeid bin Mohammed Al Aiban. (QNA)
