N.ALTANKHUYAG MEETS CHINA'S DELEGATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A chairman and a secretary-general of the Democratic Party (DP) N.Altankhuyag and D.Erdenebat met Monday a delegation headed by Liu Jieyi, vice head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Wang Xiao Long, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China (PRC) to Mongolia.
N.Altankhuyag has expressed a satisfaction with meeting with Mr. Liu. "The DemParty has been comprised in the coalition government, so we act as the political force who directly participates in the state's policy and activities," he has said, adding Mongolia pays a great attention to widening the mutually beneficial cooperation with its neighbor countries.
"We are developing effective cooperation with China in the political, economic and humanitarian fields," he went on and spoke about theTavan tolgoi deposit-related activity adding that Chinese companies are actively participating in the selection being run by the Mongolian Government.
N.Altankhuyag has pointed out that it is time to pay a special attention to the collaboration in the cultural and humanitarian sector, and underlined an importance of tackling some arguments around the cultural heritage. "In other words, I say that the neighbor countries must not have any misunderstanding between them," he said.
He supports students and youth exchange, he said, adding that as the head of the DP he stands for boosting an active cooperation with the CPC in all spheres.
Mentioning that this is his first visit to Mongolia, Mr. Jieyi said he supports Altankhuyag's opinions, promised to develop a wide cooperation with the DP and conveyed a greeting from Wang Jiarui, a director of the International Department of the CPC's Central Committee. He has emphasized that "an impetus, being given by the DP to Mongolia-China relations' development for many years, is the main reason of such an intensive development of the bilateral relations".
