S.BATBOLD MEETS DELEGATIONS OF FOREIGN POLITICAL PARTIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia and chairman of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) S.Batbold received Monday a delegation of Japan's Social Democratic Party (SDPJ) that is taking part in the 90th anniversary measures of the MPP.
The Premier has thanked the SDPJ for sending its delegation to Mongolia, and said the two political parties have been developing the ties contributing to widening of the Mongolia-Japan relations and cooperation. Mentioning about close collaboration between the parties, Mr. Batbold has said the MPP is always grateful to the SDPJ for supporting the MPP in join the Socialist International (SI).
Himori Fumihiri, a former member of the House of Representatives, and Kawai Takuya, the SDPJ's secretary in charge of organization and planning, have expressed a satisfaction with taking part in the anniversary and conveyed a greeting from the SDPJ's chairman to the Premier. They have underlined that the SDPJ has been contributing to development of interstate relations and cooperation within the inter-party ties and the SI.

The Premier S.Batbold also received a delegation led by Liu Jieyi, vice head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
The Premier has wished the delegation a pleasant stay in Mongolia and thanked the CPC for sending a high level delegation to the MPP's anniversary.
Mr. Jieyi has conveyed greetings to S.Batbold from Hu Jintao, Head of the People's Republic of China, and from Wen Jiabao, the PRC's Premier. He expressed a hope that the MPP will keep significantly contributing to the development and progress of Mongolia. Noting that the Mongolia-China relations and cooperation have been intensively developing in recent years, he has mentioned the sides have an opportunity to deepen the collaboration in all spheres, and underlined an importance of the cooperation in the economics, culture, education and humanitarian sectors.
In response, the Premier has pointed out mutual high level visits have become regular.
Mr. Jieyi said the 90th anniversary of the CPC will be marked July this year and expressed a confidence that the two political parties will continue to contribute to developing of their countries.

In frames of the 90th anniversary of the MPP, the Prime Minister received a delegation led by V.A.Pekhtin, a member of the supreme council of the United Russia Party (URP) and first deputy head of the URP's faction at the State Duma, and Mr. V.G.Maleyev, a regulator of the Russia-Mongolia group at parliament.
S.Batbold has mentioned the two political parties have been playing a main role in development of their countries, and thanked the delegation for attending the anniversary's measures.
Mr. Batbold has said the MPP attaches a great importance to the friendly relations with Russia and its people and to forwarding the relations and cooperation in all sectors. He said he is satisfied with deepening of the relations and cooperation in all spheres, emphasizing the countries can expand the inter-party exchange including the exchange of youths and women's organizations.
Mentioning about an importance of the mutual visits for widening the bilateral relations and cooperation, S.Batbold has thanked the Russian side for transferring archive materials of the MPP to Mongolia during an official visit of the Premier to Russia last year.

The same day, a delegation headed by a member of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and head of the friendship group of Germany-Central Asia Mrs. Ute Kumpf was received by the Premier S.Batbold.
S.Batbold spoke about close collaboration of the MPP and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SDPG) within the Socialist International. He said the MPP thanks the SDPG for implementing projects and programs in frames of the Ebert Foundation.
Mrs. Kumpf has affirmed that the SDPG fully supports the MPP's decision to take own original name, and said SDPG appreciates the party's contribution to distributing social democratic ideology to Asia-Pacific region. She has expressed a willingness of her party to collaborate with the MPP in frames of the SI and in distributing the ideology to Asia-Pacific region.
