      Thailand’s inflation rose by 2.87% in February

BANGKOK, March 1 (TNA) - The Thai Ministry of Commerce reports that the inflation rate rose by 2.87% in February and it is confident it can control inflation as planned.
Yanyong Puangraj, permanent secretary of the Commerce Ministry, said that inflation rose by 2.87% from the same period last year but edged up by 0.4% from January this year.
Inflation in the first two months of this year went up by only 2.95% from the same period last year.
Yanyong is confident that inflation will grow by 3.2 - 3.7% throughout this year although it may be affected by production costs sometimes. (TNA)
