RUB 190 mln stolen from Bank of Moscow office in Vladikavkaz
VLADIKAVKAZ, March 1 (Itar-Tass) -- Some 190 million roubles have been stolen from the Vladikavkaz office of the Bank of Moscow, a source in local police told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
According to the source, two unidentified men broke into the bank's central office in Vladikavkaz at about 22:00 Moscow time on Monday. Threatening to open gunfire they tied up the bank's security officers, broke the door to the depository and took the money from a bank official, who was counting banknotes.
Luckily, no one was hurt. The robbers fled the scene having lost a bag with about one million roubles.
