Kuwait International Airport plans new building
Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to change Kuwait into an international financial and trade center, the Ministry of Public Works is focusing much of its resources and manpower in constructingKuwait International Airport's new passenger building.
The ministry is currently talking with various international companies and will soon choose a company to design and build the newpassenger building, Kuwait Times reported.
A source from the ministry indicated that the new building would raise the capacity of airport passengers from 7 million passengersper year up to 20 million passengers per year.
The new passenger building will be designed with the latest and advanced international specifications and will have state-of-the-artequipment in order to present better services to our passengers.
"Once the airport building is complete, Kuwait International Airport will be one of the leading airports in the Middle East, " the sourceadded.
