      Thai FM visits Switzerland

BANGKOK, Feb 28 (TNA) - Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya is paying a visit to Switzerland to attend the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) March session in Geneva.
The Thai foreign minister is scheduled to deliver a speech at the opening of the UNHRC March session on Monday (local time). Top agenda of the UNHRC March session includes country-focused discussions and specific issues, namely freedom of expression.
Representatives of the Thai civil society will also participate in the UN session--in which delegates from several other countries will also take part. Thailand is the current chair of the 47-member UN rights council, until June this year. (TNA)
