AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES BP EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Baku, 19 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)President Ilham Aliyev has received today BP executive vice president Andy Inglis.
Mr Inglis said BP and Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, have been successfullycontinuing offshore extraction amid a crisis in the region.
He also praised the fact Azerbaijan had ensured its gas reserves for winter.
President Aliyev said this demonstrates that Azerbaijan and BP are able to continuetheir cooperation even in critical situations.
The President expressed confidence the Azerbaijan-BP cooperation will furtherenhance laying foundations for new joint projects.
