AZERI MPs VISIT LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL
Baku, 19 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)A group of Azerbaijani parliamentarians, including Ganira Pashayeva, Asim Mollazade, Gular Ahmadova and Fuad Muradov visited the Los Angeles City Council as part of their trip to California.
The MPs met with President of the Council Eric Garcetti and President Pro TemporeWendy Greuel who stressed the importance of the Azeri delegation`s visit.
After the meeting, the parliamentarians responded to questions from journalists ofseveral local TV channels.
Later the same day, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, AIPAC, honored the Azerbaijani MPs with a lunch, also attended by Consul General of Israel in LosAngeles Jacob Dayan.
The MPs also gave a press conference at the Simon Wiesenthal Center and met withmembers of the Azerbaijani community in Los Angeles.
