PREMIER MEETS CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold received Friday Mr. Yang Jiechi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China (PRC) who paid an official visit to Mongolia. Mr. Yang Jiechi is visiting Mongolia for the second time.
As of present, the two countries have been maintaing good neighborhood and mutually-trusted relations.
The Premier has wished the Chinese Minister enjoyable stay and said he heard about an effective meeting between the Mongolian Foreign Minister and Mr. Yang. "I am pleased with Your visit to my country in times of intensification of the bilateral relations," Mr. Batbold stressed.
The Premier pointed out that the main content of the Mongolia-China strategic partnership is to deepen the mutual understanding and to develop the multilateral ties in ways of strengthening the political trust, bringing the commercial and economic cooperation into a quality level and developing humanitarian exchange.
"Mongolia attaches a great importance to its relations with the neighbor countries. Mongolia also adheres to a Third Neighborhood Policy to forward the ties with its non-neighbor countries. It does not mean that frames of the bilateral ties in trade and economics will be decreased. It means this will contribute to widening the ties with new contents. Our countries should widen the cooperation in the socio-economics, education, and humanity," the Premier said.
Mr. Batbold noted that Mongolia considers China a large market and a partner, and that the countries must carry out their collaboration in all spheres.
He said he plans to pay China a visit this year and expressed a hope it will help get achievements in the policy of the bilateral economic cooperation, and proposed to set up a working group for this visit organization.
In his turn, Mr. Yang expressed thanks to the Mongolian Premier for the audience. He said he will pay attention to forwarding of the bilateral relations and making the bilateral agreements under high level meetings more effective, adding China appreciated a goal of forwarding the Mongolia-China partnership cooperation.
Mr. Yang mentioned China is the biggest investor and partner of Mongolia. He proposed to implement the two biggest projects which might widen the commercial cooperation between the two countries in next decadet and backed the Premier's proposal to deepen the humanitarian collaboration.
China's Foreign Minister expressed a confidence that the forthcoming visit of S.Batbold to China will be fruitful in terms of reaching goals in the bilateral cooperation in the politics, economics and sciences, mentioning the two countries must keep a frequency in high level visits.
